What would you do if your father came out ?

I have a friend I talk to online, and he told me that his father came out, and things were really crazy in the house, got me thinking
how would I feel if my father came out from the closet ?
what do you think? -
I'd rather see his boyfriend in the house then mum and dad each in seperate places. How my mum would feel, that's another question. But it would really suprise me at first and I think I'd accept it. Who am I to say how he can live or can't
