What is good of using Scruff rather than Grindr?

It's quite interesting that some guys are only using Scruff rather than Grindr. Isn't there a bigger users pool in Grindr than in Scruff? What is the most popular Gay Apps in your country and what will you use if you travel to somewhere else?

I don't use any of them so i'm no expert, but different guys use different apps and a lot of folks use several. it's just different apps have different features or even different types of guys they're looking for. Like Scruff, I think, has a lot of well, scruffy guys or bears or whatever, and Grindr I think is more generally for anyone. But of course anyone can use any of them so.

my city is 8th biggest in the country and sill there are mayb 2-4 people including me using Scruff here.
Grindr is much more popular but Grindr is a fckin pain in the ass because out of 120 guys near me only 40 have a legit pic. mostly it's a fucking lake, forest or just annonimous body or a leg or a sneakers. am i the only one pissed off by it ? when I travel around the world I usually use grindr and tinder, scruff too sometimes. I had a lot of other apps but they were all useless. even daddyhunt. maybe it's just the area, it doesn't do any justice here in Poland. tinder has a lot of guys but they don't talk. if they do well it's mostly not about sex so it's good and pretty cultural. i met my first long time boyfriend there. now when I'm shuffling through the guys it's just 'no, no, no, fucking no, nope, not no, never, gosh". grindr is the best and universal tool but there are a lot of nasty messages actually and that turns me off pretty much. scruff is the best in terms of a target I guess. guys there are mostly muscled hairy and cool but as I said it's not popular in my place + some guys are weird. -

Also, it depends on your location. When I installed Grindr, it was full of young gym rats in my city. I stood out like a sore thumb there and was certainly overlooked. I switched to Scruff. Much more comfortable there. Â

Although it's starting to become the case the Scruff is young gym rats with beards.
