@raphjd White men only seem to acknowledge that racism and sexism exist when it affects them. Our society is racist and sexist and AA, which wouldn't be necessary in a perfect world, has done a lot to give opportunities to those who wouldn't have it otherwise. But rich white people don't care about this. White people don't bitch about underfunding public schools, legacy admissions, making higher education more inclusive or affordable.
But so be it. In one year, this Supreme Court has erased decades of progress. The elite of the US have certainly got their money's worth. I am personally looking forward to an eventual national divorce. You all can have all the red states and Fox lovers, and we will take the blue states and MSNBC lovers and we won't have to listen to each other anymore. You can have Arkansas and Alabama and Oklahoma and all the people who live there, and we'll take New York, California and Connecticut and Massachusetts and the people who live there. Sounds perfect to me.

@raphjd while race is part of the quota program it is not the only criteria used by Universities, scores, extracurriculars and a myriad of other factors are taken in account and sure they should as I mentioned be less opaque about it and have an open conversation on the topic, as for poor white boys, there have been cases when they sue the school because they have good enough criteria to enter the race quota marks and win and are admitted, admittedly this happens a lot more in higher league places and trickles students to the lower ones, or to dropping out... in no way it is a perfect system it just worsens by having no quotas at all. If rich black kids do not use this to enter they will just use nepotism, alas papa gives money to aid the institution... you think that only wasps can do that?

USA Court always said racist admissions to privilege Blacks was wrong & must be temporary like 25 or 50 years. Guess what? 2023, time's up.
Quick google shows LIB media outlets saying, Harvard admissions had legit found Asian kids to lack "personality" or "outside achievement".
Guess what? That's racist. More liberal racism, stereotype Asians as upper-class robots, not human no struggles except SAT.

The brother of Mindy Kaling actually got rejected from med school from multiple universities due to AA, but when he shaved his head and claimed to be black, admissions couldn't get him enrolled fast enough.
