Drake hinted that one theory on the motive may involve Hale's transgender identity. While police identified Hale as a woman, some of the shooter's social media profiles suggest that Hale may have used he/him pronouns.He/Him was going to shoot up another school but decided against it because it had too much security, according to writings he/him left behind.
The shooting was well planned out, over some time.

That a supporter would respond to its banning with a spree of child-murder, fits its demonic profile. And is terrorism.
