      Can we ban "filmstrip" pics as the first pic in the description, please? I'm not keen on them to begin with as they are difficult to browse (my browser doesn't let me scroll through the image, so if it's longer than the height of my browser, it's cut off, anyway), are often of such reduced resolution as to be useless, etc.  But the main problem is that filmstrips, when the first pic in the description, take up a huge amount of space in the "browse" view.  This has recently become a huge problem and makes sorting through new content all the more difficult.

        I second the motion.  I don't know where these come from, but even if they're ripped directly from another site, it's easy enough with screen-grab software to chop up the strip into manageable pieces.  Maybe make a limit of no more than four images stacked vertically?

        That being said, at least a filmstrip is better than a deadbeat torrent that doesn't have any images at all.  It would be nice if the system software wouldn't upload a torrent if there were no attached images, but I know how tricky it is to patch software–especially stuff that works!

          This is a good idea. They seem to take up a lot of space while at the same time having individual cells that are too small to see any real detail. Might be hard to enforce through.

              Agreed. Filmstrips should be banned. I wont even open a torrents detail page if I see filmstrips.

              Suck What?!!!

                  @t4nt03f4z simple: you have 2 option to choice from either report the torrent [link located below / report button] or you should warned and notify the uploader /OP through comment section...[Remember be cautious, you must report only accurate information] feel free to ask helpdesk: https://www.gaytor.rent/helpdesk.php

                  [œùæ] : " Mahirap mag dunong dunongan, Kung wala kang kaalam alam " ...

                    If the spamming/bad image uploading is from the uploader, he might read a comment. If it's from somebody trying to harvest bonus points, he probably won't see a comment, and reporting/help desk is probably the only option. That said, the staff of this site are very busy with lots of things and might not be able to take action. Perhaps there's a software module that could be added to prevent picture spamming, although it would be tricky to write.

                    But I strongly concur with the sentiments expressed in this thread. I do not like spamalot. (Not to be confused with Spamalot, but I digress.)

                      @eobox91103 Yes, agreed...
                      FYI, Staff focus is only really applied when processing new pictures being added, in our Picture Approval Module.

                      We get a chance to see the proposed pictures... at that time... and our attention is rather focused... at THAT time, for sure.

                      Take care,

                        The task of Picture Approval is often one of the most backlogged (log jammed :D) tasks presented to our all-volunteer staff; at this exact moment, there are 89 torrents with over 900 pictures waiting to be reviewed (and probably) approved by staff.

                        Although I am relatively new here, I might be interested in helping out with Picture Approval backlogs. I'm an experienced semi-retired pro-photographer with extensive image editing experience. Due to having to rapidly edit out images of my own work, I'm likely able to spot duplicates quite quickly. Among other things. I often enjoy looking at the thumbnails here as much as the video content. 🙂
