@Rotron Oh Yes, I very much liked The King:Eternal Monarch although the ending was a little odd. it was one of the first Korean series I ever watched - the K2 being the first. Descendants of the Sun made me a committed fan of Song Joong Ki and his wry smiles. It does appear a very odd and harsh society to my european eyes. Many years of watching US shows and extensive periods living in the US have led me to believe that a society's TV is a pretty accurate reflection of that society.

@nix54 Oh I liked K2 also. I just started on Descendants of the Sun. You are so right on the last part. This is why I watch a lot more international titles that interest me. It's the culture that one must get to absorb. The West is great but the society definitely is not. There's just so much hatred in it that you don't see in other parts of the world to that extent. People from the West who don't get to travel is very much a part of that society and this is why a lot of them retire in Asian countries. It may not be perfect nor it may not provide you with benefits that you get from their government but here it gives you the simple and peaceful living that one may desire without working oneself to death.
When an Asian goes to the United States, there's a good percentage that they may experience racism, an act of hatred or sheer disrespect. But when an American or any Westerner goes to Asia, it's quite the opposite. You are venerably respected, honoured, celebrated and welcomed. Depending on which country of course but in mine, you definitely will feel the warmness of the people.
Don't include China in what I said though. Majority of mainlanders are rude and boastful especially the ones with money. Japanese people have greatly changed their perspective of tourists in the past years because of Chinese mainlanders who irrespectively desecrate important and sacred places. They don't give shit about other people's culture or way of living. It's the same for any other country here in Asia. We don't like them but they bring the money.

There's a particular manga site I am sure you are aware of that I first went to for some yaoi content and discovered that they had a large collection of live action BL content that I didn't even know existed, as well as both shorts and long form live action English language content, and manga/anime (even clips of erotic anime/manga art), etc. I'm sure you are aware of it for helping to add to content here, but if not, feel free to send me a PM.
It would probably be helpful if we had a thread where people could talk about the content to help people decide what they might want to download and check out - it really surprises me that so few people - even though many download some of the porn clips - bother to vote that they like it (the star rating system) or bother to leave a comment as a form of review. There's so much BL and anime and manga that - other than maybe you like a photo, there's no real way to decide if something is worth downloading (or more importantly, spending the time) to check it out.

@Rotron I'm really glad you enjoyed Prison Playbook! I completely agree about Looney, that was my one huge (and swallowed) complaint about the story. With the story being FULL of redemption arcs, it bothered me quite a bit that the two "out" gay characters had zero redemption. Even if we follow through with Looney getting busted and sent back, at least he could have had a redemptive moment with his mother visiting him in prison or something and us getting "closure" on their rocky relationship. I just wanted something other than trashing him at the last second. The other gay character (the abuser) also was one of the only ones left unredeemed, though I understand some characters aren't redeemable. Still something about it doesn't sit well. But at least the show itself was so great and all of the characters are amazing. Plus had the adorable lead from D.P. in it mmm

@spence8585 Yah. I really wish all those were done for character closures. It just gives you that wondering feeling at the end as to what happened to them. Thanks for reminding me about D.P. Let me put that on my watchlist now. Hospita; Playlist has been on my list for far too long and I have yet to continue Descendants of the Sun. I just don't have enough time.
Reborn Rich is very very recommendable. It follows through with real historical events like Korea's financial downfall wherein they have to borrow a large sum from the IMF, the 911 disaster and several others. The best thing of all is that the main lead got killed and got reborn in the past. I'm not gonna say more but there are editorials going around that this movie is very similar to the events that follow the family who owned Samsung Corporation and all their scandals.

As for Ace (Aki Torres) He recently had a picture with some of the crew for My Story but it was taken out so I guess nothing went to progress there if ever he'll be back at Oxin films - the production company that made My Day and Rainbow Prince. He endorses a lot of products and is a great event host. He could have been a great actor but his BLs after My Day weren't really that good. They were titled "My Toxic Lover" and "Worth The Wait". He's going to star in a new BL titled "Forever Yours". Aki had a big falling out with the director for My Day wherein he bawled out crying that he was hoarding all the earnings for the series. He streamed it live on his YouTube channel.

The guy who replaced him in My Story is Teejay Marquez, one of the main leads on Ben x Jim and BXJ Forever. Which I would say may have been chosen because he has a somewhat similar look to Aki but we all know Aki is a great kisser eh. LOL

Official Trailer: The Promise
Finally, after two Shorts as prequels we now get the official trailer. Sadly we do not see Seagames Teerapat Angkanit (Mister International Thailand 2nd Runner-up 2022) anymore in the newer scenes in the trailer but you'll still see him in the first part, the one wearing a white sport jacket. He's the third guy in the prequel and for me is the most handsome. There is a new guy though.

Sorry not to reply before as to Reborn Rich. As much as I adore Song Joong Ki, with his ever so cute wry grin, as an actor this show doesn't really have any sort of gay element. Vicenzo had a minor subplot (sadly a little homophobic) but RR none at all.
