      He died on Wednesday 18 Jan 2023 from what his wife called "a long illness".

      He was a founding member of The Byrds and Crosby, Still and Nash.

      He wrote and co-wrote many songs throughout his career. His 2 bestselling ones were Mr Tambourine Man (co-wrote with Bob Dylan and also played guitar on the album, alongside Dylan) and Turn! Turn! Turn!.

      He was also the biological father, via artificial insemination, of Melissa Etheridge's son Becket Cypher, who died of a drug overdose in early 2020 @ 21.

          Correction...it's Mr. Tambourine Man, not Tamboreen.
