LastPass has 2nd security breach in 3 months
-
Password manager LastPass has announced that it has had it's 2nd security breach in 3 months.
They say that the previous breach in Aug/Sept doesn't show any evidence that it impacted customer data.
So far, there's no word on what was taken in this breach.

This is one of the reasons why i don't use password managers aside from my own mental one.

Ditto...and I use a different password for every site (be it torrent, bank, brokerage, airline, etc.).
I don't know how password managers work (and I have no interest in learning), but they might be helpful for those people who use the same username and password for every online log-in. A former colleague at my firm did that, and got massively screwed over as a result.
