We love to garden.
We grow a lot of our own food and food for our animals.
Our front garden is for the bees. If it doesn't benefit bees, we don't put it there. Of course, we have to like it too.
Our back garden is 50% for the poultry, 25% for food and 25% for us and the dogs.
-
@raphjd Oh gosh! That is exactly what I want and do. I still have some years to go before I retire. I'll get there someday.

-
We won't retire for at least another decade or so (9 year for my husband and 12 years for me), if the retirement age and economy stays the same.
About when I hit 35, we both decided to stop going to bars and live like we do now.
Our old house was extremely nice, but we had virtually no land. When the 2008 economic collapse happened, we decided to downsize the house and get more land.
-
@raphjd That was a pretty good plan. 35 I say would be our prime years and we start to get more responsible about our future. I still have 17 more years till our legal retirement age here but I think that will be lowered down in the next few years. I still plan to retire early though before I reach it and stay a little bit outside the city up by the hills with a small house and garden.

Elite S05E04
I've seen it suggested for me on Netflix. Would I need to watch seasons 1-4 in order to make sense of season 5?
-
@eobox91103
I note that the fifth season is not new, the last one is the sixth. I think that if you don't want to watch first, it's better to start with the fourth - where the Patrick Blanco family appears (if I'm not confusing anything) -
@pupkinvasya Thank you very much for the tip. <I did not plan for a double-entendre on "tip," but I'll take credit for it anyway.>
I did a search for "Elite" on my PC, and got quite a few hits:

All of these (save for the bottom center "Wednesday") seem to be part of the overall Elite series, as they have the same branding logo. Are these bits from various seasons, or independent short stories? The one at the left called "Samuel Omar" has a pleasant image

Speaking of Netflix, I recently finished season 2 of "Young Royals." It was quite good.

If you are new to this franchise, I recommend starting with season 1.
I don't think it's a spoiler to say that the last episode of season 2 ended with some mild ambiguity that could leave open the door to a season 3. I hope that such is eventually produced.
-
@eobox91103 Definitely will start with season 1. Always, for any title just to be sure I don't miss out on any future references in the latter episodes.

-
Damn! That 1st episode was brutal but it felt so good.
When you're a genius and a weakling, you use Physics to your advantage and you get to be besties with the class' strongest and the class' closet gay.

This series made me feel angry
all throughout its 8 episodes and it just graduated to season 2 judging by the preview shown at the ending. The bromance between the weak hero and his strong bestie was all over the air. High school brutality has never made me feel this good. Ah I meant angry.
Anyways, congrats! Highest ranking I had ever seen for a series this year.

@Rotron I started watching The Golden Spoon thanks to you. So far I love it!
Recently I started to watch a bunch of Korean tv series. Namely Kingdom -
@Kekkaishi The Golden Spoon! The very title why I subscribed to Disney+. I like the plot and everything. It's good. I'm not gonna tell you more but let me know what you think of the ending.
If you like The Golden Spoon then you will like Reborn Rich even better but the series is not yet done.
I just wish I could watch Kingdom with you. I've been wanting to watch it but I just can't watch scary videos by myself. They linger in my thoughts and mess with my head. It's one of Netflix' most popular Korean series.
KDramas has got lots bromance too and are slowly opening up to Boys Love and Gay Themed Movies.
If you want to track what you're watching, I would recommend you use https://mydramalist.com/ . MyDramaList has a YouTube channel that shows you The Best of recommendations. https://www.youtube.com/@MyDramaListOfficial
Also The Swoon channel on YouTube for trailers of upcoming titles from different sources.

I might watch this next. Looks funny. If there is a title that you really want to watch but can't find it anywhere or it's behind a higher pay wall, look for it in Bilibili - the Chinese YouTube wannabe. There's a good chance it could be there.

@pupkinvasya Thanks very much for decoding this!

Now showing on Amazon Prime: ISLAND

@Rotron Thank you for the many recommendations. May I assume that if these series are on Netflix or Amazon Prime that they have English subtitles available? My Korean language skills are virtually non-existent.
I did spend a week in Korea some ten years ago (DPRK, not ROK), and was able to learn the following:
- Hello.
- Thank you very much.
- Where is the toilet?
- My spleen rejoices at the thought of the Great Leader.
- Please do not shoot me even if I am a Western Capitalist Pig.
