@Rotron I also heard recently that they're doing Cherry Magic in Thailand soon also. I heard such good things about the Japanese version that I'm thinking I'll watch both

@spence8585 Cherry Magic is one of the best boys love series has produced. Both main characters are so cute and perfect for each other. The series is so funny also. There's just one thing that's missing in both series and movie and in most Japanese boys love that is. Real, natural, serious kisses. I am glad that Thailand boys love has already gone past this stage but fake, unnatural ones are still present in a few of them. Real, natural kisses are more present in Filipino boys love but production values are still low for most of them.
May be I could post a collection of trailers for upcoming titles. Let me think....

@Rotron Yes, I notice the "stiff / fake" kissing also in some series, but also noticed that more recent series the actors have learned to kiss more real and naturally. I don't mind the lack of sex and the "fade to black", but the kissing I prefer to be more real, or at least comfortable.

@spence8585 This is very true for most boys love because they are aired on public television to gain a lower censorship rating and scrutiny from the government entities.
Now, they are trying to break away from this and these studios have found an outlet through online streaming sites and paid YouTube memberships since demand is very high for these scenes and the fans are just disappointed and will give a very low rating if they don't see what they want.
You will mostly only see natural man to man kisses in Filipino gay movies or boys love shows because their culture is more Westernized compared to others but then it mostly a Roman Catholic country that is why there has been not much big productions from them to avoid scrutiny from the church and religious politicians. The very first and most natural torrid kissing boys I've seen was from My Day The Series. It's here in GayTor and I think that was episode 8. Then a lot of Filipino boys love popped up during the pandemic and I guess neighbouring countries got challenged and there goes the evolution to where it is in process as the boys love category goes forward.

These upcoming shows look amazing. By the way, I just reached episode 8 of #MyDay. WOWWWWW you weren't kidding. That is the most chemistry and affection I've seen in any scene in any show so far. I mean, yes, KinnPorsche had "actual sex" scenes and other shows did other things, but I've never seen a sex/romance/kissing scene as natural, comfortable, and also emotional as that scene in episode 8 between Sky and Ace. The fireworks in the sky and the kiss happened, and I thought, "Oh, that's it?" And then the next scene smacked me in the face and was stunning and also surprisingly beautiful with the music. Wooow. They were so natural and open in their expressions. Anyway, I'm glad I continued with that series. The "silliness" of the side stories were making the show feel cheap and campy to me, and it sometimes was tedious to watch, but now I'm truly invested, even if it's a bit late in the show. Episode 9 was adorable with all of Sky and Ace's shows of affection and being fun together, too. Though the girls and the dog-stealing plot is very annoying.
Anyway, just wanted to share my experiences!

@spence8585 Oh! You actually watched it. Wasn't that scene so natural? Filipinos don't do fake kisses. I only wish they'd have better production values. Expect 2 titles coming soon from them.
