"White lying" to sexual partner

To this day, it happened to me 3 times. One time I don't remeber the details to be honest, So I will elaborate on 2 of them:
Today I had sex with a partner I met (oral and rimming only). I am bottom and I usually try to insert a finger to my partner's ass when I rim him. He was ok with it and enjoyed it. So I go back and forth between sucking, rimming and fingering. What I would do as the session progress I will try and insert an additional finger.
When I insert 2 fingers he asks me if it's one finger, to which I replied: Yes. So I was able to continue without him noticing.
The other time that I remember happened almost a year ago. But this time it was for the purpose of the partner fisting me (first time). I managed to convince him to let me finger him, but this time I said that I put 3 fingers in his ass when in fact it was 4 (I couldn't make it 5 because his rectum muscles put up a good fight)
