Are affliliate links going to alter when site changes it's URL name ?

I'm just updating managment of my affiliate link posts and i wish to understand how the coming site URL name change might alter the affiliate links provded to each member. My affiliate link URL has remained unchanged since i joined.
Can anyone advise.

Getting fed up of having to scroll through the same posts each visit?
