Recommended Screencap Dimension

Hey so I've been getting comments on the stuff I upload saying how small the screencaps are. So I want to know what dimension do you all recommend? how many rows and columns would make the screencap large enough for people with high resolution displays should the screencaps have?

best ex: Quality 960x540[p]/vice versa and up | worst under 320x240[p] low and poor resolution ...

Yes ... however it is over format ...
8-12 column is fine to 4 rows and depends on your custom settings ... -
16 column | 4 rows ... dimension 1199x766 [force: widescreen] ...
