Why have almost 90% of torrents gone dead?

Has this happened before? I noticed it when my upload stopped seeding and getting leeched.

Yes, the Tracker Server appears offline, and the Sysop has been notified.

And there's a lot of missing torrents as well. There are only three left in Anime Games category

Those seeding are in big trouble. I've upped 6GB of data today as a couple of torrents continued seeding despite the fiasco here and my ratio remains frozen.
