I think it's a great courtesy when Original Posters translate their remarks into any website's default language, unless they are commenting within a specific Language Board:

If someone wants input from the community as a whole, Google Translate and similar programs make this easy to do.

I agree.. I needed google translate to understand this. (No, English also isn't my language.)
