    mcaffee is blocking utorrent today

      out of the blue, mcaffee is blocking utorrent web. i have granted access and even tried to redownload. still getting blocked. over 300 torrents arent seeding now and cannot download new torrents. why is it considered a threat?

        If you want to enable McAfee to work with uTorrent, you have to manually grant the program permission from within McAfee.
        Click "Start," then "Programs," and then "McAfee Internet Security." ...
        Click "Internet & Network," and then "Configure."
        Click "Advanced" and then "Program Permissions."

          Oh, man! I feel the pain already. I never had that experience with McAfee before, but Malwarebytes was all up in my grill regarding utorrent, lol! So yeah, I had to do those steps described above. Presently, I have AVAST and I definitely had some firewall issues with them in the beginning, but no issues now. Thankfully.
