Is there a function to save selected categories in Browse screen?

I would like to save selected Browsing categories, so I could remove some categories that I am not interested in. Is there such function?

If I remember correctly, if you set your preferred categories on your user page (site, not forum), it should only show those categories on both the Search and Browse pages.
Tick or untick the boxes as needed.

@raphjd The settings I did were there but it didn't have any effect on the browse page.

Getting fed up of having to scroll through the same posts each visit?
