245 is the number of police in England (not the entire UK) who have been convicted of a felony while working for the police and allowed to remain on the job,

Previously, we had the UK's version of the SWAT team be convicted of felony animal abuse, who was allowed to keep his job because he claimed he had PTSD. He has PTDS and gets to keep his gun.

Now we have an extremely high-up cop who was convicted of kiddie porn being allowed to keep her job. She was tipped to be the UK's top cop.

BTW, UK police officers have absolute immunity. You can't ever sue them for violating your rights. You can sue the police department they work for, but you can only get small amounts.

Oh, she got 200 hours of community service for the kiddie porn.

Her 200 hours was her doing her job as a cop, which is normal in the UK. If you do a "community-based" job, you normally can count that as your community service.

In Los Estados Unidos.. it is supposed to be forbidden for any attorney to practice law if they have been convicted of a felony. There seems to be an exception for that. They can still practice law if they are employed BY the government as a public defender or as a prosecutor.
