@lololulu19 dude. You are wrong. Rand Paul is an eye doctor. And has not been board certified by a state certified board for over 10
Years. Do you go to your eye doctor for advice when your cock hurts ? I think not. He is another unqualified liar that shouldn’t hold office. As I said. Healthcare professionals who work around infectious diseases wear masks all day long. There is something called PPE. Had Donnie Dipshit gotten off of his dumpy ass and done something sooner we would have had the production capability activated early on to get ahead of this and start producing enough masks and N95 masks so that your brother would be able to wear a fresh mask daily. There was a plan to mail masks through the post office to every household. He vetoed the plan because he was concerned about the optics. The primary means that this virus spreads is through airborne transmission. Not magic drops going in eyes and ears. It is through breathing in aerosolized vapors. There are one offs where someone sneezes in another persons face and a transmission occurs but by and large that has not been the primary way it has been transmitted. As far as the incorrect history that you have been taught in American schools you need to just look at the word history. HIS STORY. It is the story of written from the perspective of one race of people. While marginalizing or flat out lying about the atrocities committed on our own citizens to get where we are today. I bet you had never heard of Tulsa, Black Wallstreet and the
Greenwood Massacre until your lord and savior Trump held a rally there last summer. You certainly weren’t taught about it in school. You weren’t taught about the slaves the Thomas Jefferson owned either. Only about how great our founding fathers were. Just propaganda and Half truth. Kids deserve to know the truth about whose back this country was built on and why things are the way they are today. -

@sosofly The types of masks that 99% of people were wearing were completely ineffective.
Not "completely ineffective," but less effective than a well-fitting non-vented N95 mask. It's true that virus particles are very, very small, but they don't fly solo. They're either contained in droplets from sneezing or coughing, or aerosolised with normal exhalation. If both the transmitter and the (potential) receiver are masked, the probability of transmission leading to infection is massively reduced. Do your own research on this, although Q-tweets don't count.
Fauci was WRONG!
Dr. Fauci is a scientist. He studies new data and learns from it. As a result, he may say something based on new scientific understanding that was not known previously. He is not a stubborn conspiracy fetishist who adopts an opinion based on political bias and then refuses to consider new information.
Senator Rand Paul is a fully qualified practicing MD.
No, he's not. He was a board certified ophthalmologist from 1995-2005, but is no longer certified. (See https://abop.org/verify-a-physician/?fn=rand&ln=paul#physician-list-search-results for data on his licensure.) He does have an M.D. degree from Duke University, he never completed his undergraduate studies or received a Bachelor's degree as Duke didn't require it.
While he might still be able to diagnose and treat conjunctivitis or glaucoma, he cannot possibly be considered an expert on infectious disease. This no doubt contributed to him becoming infected with COVID-19 himself...and while it's good that he recovered, one cannot know how many people he infected (possibly with a fatal outcome) as a result of anti-science fact aversion.

@sosofly That is mumbo jumbo nonsense and so narrow. You take aim at the one little angle you can shoot your arrow, oblivious.

No Bias. It was irrelevant, was not hate driven or motivated, and didn't need to be reported. If he shot up a MAGA Rally then yes it would have been relevant. The news reports news. not gossip. Here is some news. Why is your party the party of mr potato head, Jewish space lasers, protecting a pedo in congress, and trying to tell women what to do with there body, all while getting your panties in a bunch when you are told what to do with your body i.e. WEAR A DAMN MASK, Get a Vaccine.
️ @PAHouseGOP leader has meltdown on House floor after it was raised that his caucus is 100% white in a chamber that is 70% male while pushing bills that hurt women's health, especially Black and brown women. He had it stricken from the record then they shut down the floorhttps://www.huffpost.com/entry/pennsylvania-rep-brian-sims-gop-comments_n_60c2140ae4b0e6bab7a4ee89
THE KNOW NOTHINGS.. You are going extinct. BIGLY
Typical deflection and whataboutism.

I do love how a liberal rag, admittedly, refused to report the description of a person that shot at least 13 people because he was black and the liberals here have to deflect from the topic.

@eobox91103 As always, you are wrong. You obviously never went to college either. An ophthalmologist is an M.D. specializing in surgeries and diseases of the eyes. To become an M.D. which is a doctoral program.. one must complete all the necessary pre-requisites. I have enough college credits to hold several degrees, however, I only applied for one - as the other degrees would be irrelevant compared to my chosen degree.
Dr. Fauci has done little but polish a seat with his ass without actually treating anybody. And what Fauci has done for the past several decades, was disastrous. //
"Paul let his own ABO certification lapse in 2005, which did not affect his practice in Kentucky; the state does not require board certification."
Certification is pretty much just a rubber stamp of bureaucracy. In fact, Rand Paul complained bitterly that the certification test was too easy, and meaningless. He objected to lifetime certification - but his efforts were rejected. If a certification is not recognized nor required, why would anybody get one? For instance.. whenever you see advertisements from Lawyers and other "professionals" that say they are "Board Certified" in something.. that typically means that they paid $10000 to a certification board to have them SAY they reviewed the practice of that person and certified that they are able and competent. In fact, it is very rare that certification boards do anything more than cash those checks. You are quite naive, and ignorant of the facts and of reality.
Meanwhile, Dr. Fauci is quite a contradictory, flip-flopping, evasive, LIAR! -

ophthalmologist
YEP.
M.D. with a 3-year Residency in Ophthalmology is the definition of an Ophthalmologist.
You can be a Professor of Ophthalmology with a Ph.D., but you can not practice. After you get your PhD, you would have to be supervised by a tenured Professor for 3 years.
If you are a fully qualified MD Ophthalmologist (see above), you can teach without supervision.

No. A M.D., like a J.D., is a professional degree that trains a person to do a specific kind of work. A Ph.D. is an academic degree that is granted only after a person has made a notable research contribution to the advancement of his/her discipline (i.e., a dissertation).
You obviously never went to college either.
I have more degrees and more years teaching at the university level than you could count.
This thread has dissolved into meaninglessness by your shift away from facts to an argument ad hominem--or stated more simply, if you can't make an argument, you try to insult people. Not surprisingly, even that comes out quite wrong.
-
@eobox91103 just goes to show you.. having a pile of degrees does not make one intelligent.. because you prove on a daily basis what a complete vagina you are. You are not impressing anybody. I knew a guy who had a PhD in folk dancing! Woooo impressive. (ironically, he died of a heart attack WHILE dancing!)
