So think it’s safe to ignore most of the nonsense that has been claimed for the last few weeks.

      What a poor showing.

An administration official and a separate adviser have stated that officials are discouraging the President from firing any top leaders in the administration, the attorney general in particular, so close to the end of his term.

          Have they looked?

I mean, we still have only 1 FBI person charged in all that Russian collusion crap, despite knowing the Comey and Co lied to the FBI, Congress, and others.  Comey even admitted to leaking documents, but he hasn't been charged.    Hillary destroyed 33,000+ emails that were under subpoena from Congress and she's free.

Hillary and all that, how could any of that affect the outcome of this election and the upcoming events?

I was just pointing out that the DoJ doesn't always investigate crimes, even when they are right in front of them.

Oh true, that happens at all levels with all political parties as well. Some of the factors that go into deciding whether to prosecute include the chance of success, the cost versus value for the taxpayers, political advantage, and backhand deals.

Slightly saddening that people believe that their governmental systems are so faulty that they wouldn’t investigate wide-spread voter fraud… if they were presented with any evidence of it.

Do you guys really think so little of your fellow Americans who work in these organisations? Do you think they all have been sworn to some secrecy that’s so powerful, people like Snowdon won’t exist?

I suspect it’s more likely that there just isn’t any evidence that they could build a case on.

Destroying 33,000+ subpoenaed emails and nothing happens.

Leaking classified documents and nothing happens.

                    Biased investigations.

I have no faith in the DoJ at federal or state levels.

Same in the UK and I'm sure most other countries.

                      @raphjd:

                      ???

If these emails were subpoenaed, how exactly was the DoJ not investigating them?

Who issued the subpoena - was it the DoJ in the course of their investigation?

What you meant to say was that the DoJ did investigate these emails, but that you didn't agree with what you think are their findings.

But then, what exactly were those findings? Do you remember how the DoJ in their report stated that her testimony about some of those emails was false?

My guess would be no, you don't remember. What you remember about their investigation was that there was no investigation.

It was a Congressional subpoena, from what I remember.

It's up to the DoJ to investigate the violation and prosecute.

No one was prosecuted for it.
