I've uploaded 2 torrents but my ratio hasn't gone up. Are there any veterans that can explain how the Ratio system works? I've read the page but I didn't find anything on wait times

In order for your ratio to change, your mix between downloaded and uploaded would need to change. Generating/creating/uploading new torrents is great! You're helping to expand the diverse pool of torrents already available to members.

However, to get "upload credit" you would need to continue seeding your torrents after uploading. As long as your torrent is being seeded (accessible for others while they try to get copies), your upload count will go up which will increase your ratio. For reference, your ratio is your total uploaded data divided by your total downloaded data.
