Descriptions and Pictures

FINALY SOMEONE SAID IT . I have have to download a torrent and the files not having any type of name. I dont wanna guess okay??? A person who does that should get block from uploading again
-
but it looks like the most users didnt read this rules every day i see new uploads with missing a good description and acceptav´bke previws so if i open the detail and see upload like this my way goes to rating and rate them "sucks"
Sadly some users on here use the rating system based on if they like the content and not the actual quality of the torrent inself which makes the rating system useless.
-
That's pretty much the way movies get rated.
"Jumanji: The Next Level was a fun movie that I really enjoyed. 4 out of 5
Ad Astra was dull and didn't understand its setting. 1 out of 5"The fact that I saw Ad Astra in a modern theatre with comfortable seats and Jumanji in an old theatre has no relevance to whether or not the content is good or bad.

I personally don't find it that hard to figure out if the content in a torrent is for me or not. If it has good screen shots and description and I realize that it's not my thing I move on. But if it has no screen shots or any info it deserves a bad rating. I don't jump around in catagories I don't like and Rate them "sucks" just because it's not my thing. Maybe that is what is going on here since so many new torrents get hit with a bad rating even before anyone has downloaded them yet. And if the rating system is aimed at the content itself i assume that the best way to rate it is by watching it but you don't have to download anything to be able to rate it.

Well, that's how the rating system SHOULD be used. What if people rated not on whether an upload itself was good but rather only on the quality of the rip? That's pointless. Better to rate based on whether a person likes it or not…then a potential downloader can say "Oh, a lot of people liked it...must be good". Rather than rating based on, let's say the quality of a rip ("Oh, great quality rip")...then someone downloads it only to find out the movie simply SUCKS.

Pictures associated with a torrent that have only one video file are obviously from THAT video.
However, pictures associated with a torrent that has multiple files have no indication WHICH of the video files that picture is associated with.
This is a problem because often I have only interest in one picture from a collection posted, but I have no idea WHICH video that picture is associated with. Also, I would rather not download a 200 gig collection when there is only one movie that interests me in that collection.
One solution to that would be.. when uploading a FOLDER.. QTM would cycle through all the MP4, AVI, MPG, and WMV files, and prompt the uploader for one (or more) pictures from each of those files - and associate it with that file. If they are too lazy to make those associations, fine.. don't upload a picture. But don't upload a bunch of pictures to use as "click-bait" to get people to download a 200 gig collection.. of which 190 gigs of it is unwanted.
Also.. very few members here are willing OR able to download massive collections, so those massive collections are a waste of time to the site.

Another solution - when uploading pictures - especially when uploading pictures for a collection - require the uploader to give each picture a NAME which is viewable on the torrent description - or on the picture itself.Other sites don't even allow collections / folders - because of the problems that come with them.
-
i've also seen many torrents with pics that do not relate to that torrent. frustrating.

All Theme must include language and subs info in the description.

I concur that torrents of collected files described only as "defgbkidej3iuvg83e.mp4" are wastes of time. But even if somebody is too lazy to name files or otherwise identify them, one can always take a screenshot of a file directory showing large thumbnails. See the torrent at https://www.gaytor.rent/details.php?id=f5e714be77ffffae3f627acd8bc2072fd16a697a1e147c1d for an example. (This looks like a screen grab from a Windows directory; Macs probably have something similar.) Note that each clip also has some kind of description…whether from the original source or renamed by the uploader.
As one of the commenters above said, it's inconceivable that someone would upload a file and not be able to describe its contents. If there isn't a description on the source website, then write one yourself. I realize that this is a very international site, and that not everyone is proficient at writing in English–but even a one-sentence attempt with some grammar or spelling issues would be very much appreciated. For many languages represented here, your attempt at English is likely better than my attempt at your language.

Exactly my point about description(s). Thank you
As for proficiency in English, Uploader can always google translate.
The uploader can also write it in his native language, Downloaders can always click "Translate to English".

can please made a topic for category description ? little meaning of every one
I'll work on this, this week.
-
Also anyone who make a large upload like this OnlyFans Site rip or just a update of files should have Thumbnails or at least the files being describe shortly. It's annoying how they upload 34500 files and zero Thumbnails or names.

I recall a thread some time back addressing definitions of "twink" and "youngblood." Let it suffice to say that there was a divergence of opinion. These are admittedly somewhat fuzzy concepts, but I think we can set a standardised definition and ask everyone to follow that.
Another area of ambiguity comes up with "straight" categories. On one side, some people who have "straight" categories turned off in their user profile post male-female material without a "straight" label. Others take material like "StraightGuysSuckingCock.com" (a fictional title) and put it in a "straight" category, when it's definitely male-male material. It might help to clarify these topics for people.
Of course, all of this assumes that people read–and heed--the rules and the forums. That's not often the case, and I don't know how to fix that.

There are some rules about torrent descriptions and images and some are even specific to collections. If a torrent does not follow the rules, use the report button to notify a moderator.
https://www.gaytor.rent/rules.php#102
Here are some of the rules:
"A COLLECTION is a group of files that have a well-defined common theme.
The Title must specify the theme and the degree of completeness (all videos from 2010-2011; full site rip or complete as of a specific month/year; videos from a studio or featuring an actor; numerical series 100-200, 301-499; alphabetical listings of A-C, D-F; n number of clips of a particular porn theme; etc).
The description must contain a list of all video files or titles including, by at least copy/paste the torrent’s file list. Please list video files and titles available through other existing torrents with links to their descriptions."
"Any information, e.g. the title, categories, pictures and description must correctly represent the content of the files shared with the torrent and avoid misleading members about the content. This applies as well to additions, votes or comments made by other members than the original uploader. In doubt, rather than providing wrong information, omit it.
At least one good quality picture is mandatory for the torrent presentation."
-
Also they keep uploading videos with unknown category / format:
They should specify what format / ratio / resolution should be rather than uploading bunch of large files (untitled) and most are in poor quality taking up too much space from the hard drive and will be deleted affecting our ratio …
lastly the picture they are posting sometimes are not related or the width/dimension are too large in resolution...
and most are in vertical position w/c are most likely difficult to view (see)... -
Some people are being very lazy about Descriptions lately. I like to see (as do the Rules specify) something telling WHAT a movie is about (at least in the non-porn categories) instead of this useless and tiresome "some very hot guys" or "man on man action".
That's pointless and utterly useless, and doesn't follow the uploading Rules either.TELL people what a movie is about, DON'T just describe the "action" or other such useless nonsense.

This thread was read more than 400 times an yet, people are putting tips without zero THUMBNAILS or even a file name to make it easier to know what are you downloading. Feels like the people who run this site don't even care anymore
