Blood in semen

Has anyone else experienced this and did you find the cause? It's happened on occasion the I have ejaculated and noticed that there was blood in my semen. I did a bit of research and found out that it is usually not caused by anything serious. It is however very distressing.

Happened to my bf once, turned out it was caused by a pretty big urinary tract infection. You should go get it checked as soon as you can!

Also happened to a friend of mine…and it was a bacterial UTI easily resolved by antibiotic tablets. A urologist will be able to diagnose, counsel, and prescribe treatments.
