      In the forums.. there is a box to check to receive NOTIFICATIONS of replies..

      I have NEVER gotten a notification to one of my forum posts, and I have been using this site since it began in 1912.. (or something like that)

      I DO  get notifications of messages in the main site.. such as for reseeding requests, or from moderators chatting to me, or messages sent direct from other members.  But as for the forums?  NEVER.

        You should have gotten forum notifications before the forums got broken.

          When did they get broken?
          I don't recall EVER getting a forum notification.

          Just to teste that, could you reply to THIS message? 
          I made sure to check "notify me of replies" and "return to this topic"
          (or are the forums currently broken?)

            lololulu19. If you dont receive a notification for this I'm not sure what is happening. I believe you said you clicked on the notify button at the top of the thread which should make it that you would be notified of a new post.
