Definitely a nice surprise! Unfortunately it appears someone has noticed me indulging, as they've completely throttled my download speeds to nearly useless levels (10kB/sec tops!). It's either Comcast or Windscribe. To whichever company is cockblocking my Xmas present: Pick a finger!!!

Sorry to hear, magnums, that your DL speed has been throttled. Like you, I had Comcast once in Florida, and while their best speed is still 5x slower than my service from RCN in NYC, I never felt Comcast was putting a damper on my speed during specific high-use periods.
Even with the superior RCN, and using GTRU with a Surface Pro tablet of limited memory, it seems like every 10 DLs or so, my DL speed decreases unless I turn the computer off, wait, and restart it. This has helped "clear the pipes" and raised my speed many times.
Perhaps also check if your computer/drive is over 90 percent full. I just find that tends to slow things down, no actual proof of that, only an intuition.

Sorry I am pretty new. There is one torrent ive been trying to get for a week now. I noticed today its listed as FREELEECH.
How come I can't get it to open in my client?

Cleared a good portion of dl's on my wishlist! -
I went from 43 to 5.
There were a few on my wishlist that were not made freeleech. And one of the weird things that happens on the Torrent server level is that a couple that say there are peers in the swarm never connect to them. :cry2:
But that still means I downloaded 52 torrents successfully. And a number of the torrents were huge. ;D
Edit because of a miscount.

Re-reading this it looks like I left out the context.
It was a direct response to Maxellr's question about why his ratio was going down even though everything he was downloading was "Freeleech".
If someone clicks on something that's Freeleech but it doesn't finish downloading until after the Freeleech expires it counts against the ratio.It's 11:30 on the 28th and one of the torrents I had clicked during the Freeleech has just started loading.
