Bathroom Stall Gaps

Not sure why I never thought of this, but while I was taking a dump at one of the bathroom stalls at my local gym (part of a major University) - I realized that there is a decent-sized gap between the bathroom stall door… what's stopping anyone from walking right up, taking a quick peek or two while I'm doing my duty? If anything, I imagine they could get away in the time I yell at them, wipe, pull my pants up and take off after them... which leads me to my followup thought - what if the tables were turned? Any of y'all ever sneak a peek or two?
