How do you feel about guys who carry around little towels with them at the gym to wipe things down after them? do you do that? Personally I use my t-shirt instead.

i definitely prefer that they carry the towel around to wipe down machines after use than just leaving it all sweaty and gross. my gym offers disinfecting wipes throughout the weight room too, so i don't personally carry a towel.

It's either their towels or the sanitizing wipes the gym offers.

I'm not really a fan of using your own gym clothes to wipe out the sweat, you are soiling them even more and you wouldn't be really cleaning the sweat as with the desinfecting wipes.

Using your own sweat-soaked shirt to wipe down gym equipment??

The whole point of wiping down equipment is to clean it up for the next person, not smear your own sweat on the equipment for the next guy LOL.

Best practice - use a towel.

Usage of T-shirts… you may need to rethink that...

I am not a fan of smearing my sweat all over gym equipment, nor of collecting other people's sweat onto my T-shirt.

                Unless, it's some fetish sub-culture thing ?

I always carry a towel with me to clean after using the gym facilities.
Actually in Spain (at least in Madrid) in most of the gyms it is obligatory to carry a towel to clean things up after using the equipment.
