I used to when I was training a lot more intensely as an endurance athlete. Now I've gotten a much better feel for my training zones and can usually base my effort on splits whether running, biking, laps in the pool, etc.

i have a fitbit . It works quite well and records all the needs. Heartrate workout and soon. i can only recomend it.
