So, after some thought, I would be quite willing to try out some apps to really get myself out there. Any advice for a young, highly inexperienced guy like me?

Try PlanetRomeo, because grindr and all the other apps are all the same. you really just need one, because the same people are on all the apps. lol. u see the same ones on grindr like on bumblr or something lik ethat.

Never used a gay app.
Since i am still "in the closet", i am too afraid to use such apps and ended up exposing to my friends and family my sexual preferences.
I don't know how these apps work, but i do think that, once you create a profile in these services, your cel number, localization and other sensitive information will be out on the wild, allowing anyone to be able to find you and discover your most hidden secrets.
I really don't have the courage necessary to use them.
Plus, i live in a very small town and rarely leave the city. Would probably be a waste of time trying to find someone from other places, and too risky trying to find someone near me.
If someone has more information regarding whether it's possible to keep your privacy and ID very secure, i would love to know more.

Hey Giulian. I started using Grindr app 2 years ago, I live in a small place, really small (it's an island), I'm also very discreet and never had problems with identity. You only write what you want about you and it's not mandatory to add a photo of you, as long as you don't creat a fake profile. You can chose the option of not showing your distance or, if you want even to be extra cautious, you can use an app that masks your gps location, this way you can chose the place you want to meet guys. just give it a try

i use grindr and realy dig it, like any social media there are some idiots over there, but some really cool guys, i had date dates like going out for a beer and suck and hookups with guys i met on grindr,

it's a meat market most of the time. others (rarely) found love, while i can't even get a date. could always find dick though for a hook up.
have a pic. a safe pic like headless if you have a nice bod. then if you're interested then send pics.-never talk about sex first…cuz some guys get off on just that alone then ghost you

- dont type racist shit there. (NO black /asians etc)
- type what you do like

Group call. So you need to have the guts. And i asked if someone (male) wanted to meet me, and One (my husband) said we could talk, and gave me his private number. I called him and we started to talk. Maybe half hour later i asked if he wanted to meet me in person. And yes he did. (I was home alone, my mother was with her man) And i was virgin at the time, no less! A horny, hungry virgin….. :cheesy2:
