I'm still enamored with Nicki Minaj, who has a lot more to say and do. I don't even know if she's done her best yet. People don't even know she has songs like "I Lied" which is the best mainstream artist contribution to popular music of 2015. But it was packaged in a lousy video compilation because, image. Arg. Oh, well. Cardi B is very much some music industry jerkwad in a suit's replacement for Nicki because Nicki actually expects to control her own music. Cardi is a quick cash-out performer who doesn't care who tells her to do what, where, and when. Tailor made to fit a mold. I hope she has fun and entertains people. But, I'm looking for something that will last. Someone with substance. Nicki has that talent. Cardi B, I very much doubt she does.
