Tyler Henry in particular is a leech who preys upon tragedy and emotional vulnerability. Exploiting a person's dead relatives is just not cool.

A very large portion of the general public is dumb as rocks. My great Uncle was a medium and made a small fortune working the minds and hearts of hurt and despondent people. The way he described it to me is that he provided therapeutic help to people in metaphysical situations.
In all his years he never got sued, never got hate and even the local sheriff would stop by for a little enlightenment once in a while.
He basically listened to people and told them either what they wanted to hear or needed to hear to move on.

The best mediums are actually good at reading people and being mentalists.    Rubbish mediums need tricks and gimmicks to distract you from the process.

Yeah, I'm sure Henry uses cold and hot reading (mentalist techniques) to perform "psychic" acts tbh.

Always approach "clairvoyant" with a healthy amount of skepticism. Learning to read people is not that hard, and they usually exploited this to get the desired response of their client.

How on earth would a 22 year old have that kind of "ability" in the first place?

I went to a medium after my partner passed away. My sister had gone to him, heaped praise on him, told me how he's the biggest thing in Atlantic City and is booked for weeks in advance, and said he was unbelievable. Well, she was right. He was definitely unbelievable. He was telling me the most generic things that could apply to 90% of people, yet somehow managed to pick out ones that didn't apply to us. It was good for a few laughs at least (which I needed at the time since I was heavily greiving).

I'm not saying I don't believe in supernatural phenomena. I've experienced it many times. I also know though that there's a lot of people who will capitalize on other people's vulnerabilities and beliefs. So even though I keep an open mind, it's also open to the fact that there's scam artists out there.

                        Mediums? On TV? A scam?

                        I am shocked and appalled!
