I don't think anybody should be defined by their sexual urges.

What's next?  The CSRR which are people that only like Chocolate, Strawberry, and Rocky Road ice cream?

My interest in MALES is a trivial aspect of who I am.  But if labels must be applied, at least stick to GAY and not lump me in with lesbians and trannys.  Frankly, almost all women are a tad lesbian.. so that is an absurd term.  And trannys?  Trannys are usually fucked up in the head and nasty.. don't lump me in with them, thanks.

Since trannies are almost all men who identify as women.. who are interested in men.. shouldn't trannies be lumped in with straight people?  Yes they should!  While we are at it.. bisexuals are by definition both straight and gay.. so why lump them in with the gay people?

Heres a new group they should make..  SWPT    Straight, Womanizers, Pedophiles, Trans.

Agreed, I am not a labels kind of person. However being gay is a label I am proud of.

Trying being the UK where you get fit into a category based on the brand of tea you drink.

I am not sure if I should just sigh at this or roll up the newspaper. No, you are not labeled as a Lesbian or as trans. No one has ever said to me "Oh you are LGBT."

There are many reasons those letters are together, we shared a combined history and combined struggle. We are an inclusive community that don't discriminate based on sexual preference or gender.

Members of the Trans community should not be lumped in with a community that still fails to accept them to this day. The fact that you think members of the trans community are "fucked up in the head and nasty" actually shocks me. I have a few Trans friends and would not describe any of them that way. Perhaps if you took the time to get to know them you would understand them and would not be as ignorant.

I am sure straight men have said that about "Fags" before, "Don't class them as men and lump me in with them". I don't think you should exclude people who fight for the same rights and acceptance we do.

The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard you’re hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward

Let's not forget that there are different types of "trannies".

Real "trannies" like Blair White and Skylar are normal people.

Trans trenders are fucked in the head.

The one's whose goal it is to look "normal" seem to do well.  Those are the ones we rarely hear about.  The one's that strive to be some sort of Barbie Doll freak are train wrecks.

I can't think of anyone who isn't part of a classification.

Why do most Christian groups call each other Christian in Public but condemn and call each other satan and evil in private?

People have different needs and desires regardless of their classifications. Nobody is the same as everyone else. Its what makes us individuals.

But I do kind of agree with the LBQT thing. adding trans to the mix was the worst mistake the gay movement ever did. They have nothing in common .
Most real trans people do the transition and become the person  and vanish into that life. They don't want to be seen or heard of as they were. Only the one's wanting attention are the one's who seem to show up and make fools of themselves.

Yes.. but "real" trans people are very rare.  Although.. there are a percentage of genetic "male" babies born with penises that are so small that the doctors often do a bit of surgery to make that baby a female and are raised as a female.  Some babies born with micro penises are raised as males though - such as Brian.

In the past what you said is true. Doctors based that judgment on what the genitalia looked like and what could be more beneficial or prominent. But many modern medical centers are able to determine a persons genetic and chromosomal identity shortly after birth and give that information to the parents for them to determine the sex.

you may like or not like labels… but sexuality while not being everything it defines you.

there is alot of luggage on heterosexuality... men brags about women, and during a conversation there are words like wife, married...
if you do not wanna hide... you are supposed to say something when there is a dinner and you are supposed to take your "wife" with you...

and what about the ring ? don't people assume that a man with wedding ring is an heterosexual who is married and has a female wife with whom he has sexual intercourse ?

you can't just leave a "detail" like sexuality out... just cause it doesn't totally define you, it just doesn't mean that is doesn't define you.
