Is it better to download a file before you freeleech it or after?

If you download a file after you freeleech it yourself, you pay nothing for downloading it and get to upload.
If before, you maximise the amount of time it's at minimal seeders and you would be already available to seed before everyone else. This is especially true, if your download speeds suck.Does anyone have any experiences to relate?

i dont get it why will you download it after your freeleech it

If you download it while it's still on Freeleech it doesn't count against your downloads AND there's a better chance that other people will be downloading from you increasing your own ratio.

I would make it freeleach first so it doesn't count against my ratio.
