Why do women wear makeup?

Given how many legal systems in Muslim countries believe that it is justified to rape a woman who appears in public without being accompanied by a male I'm going to take the side that the responsibility to not rape is stronger than the demand that all women wear burkas lest a man be tempted.

If men can be groped by women and we are just supposed to accept it, then shouldn't it be the same for the other side?
I mean, feminists claim to be for gender equality, while claiming that men doing it is oppression but women doing it is liberating and empowering.

No one said women cant be groped. Anyone can be groped. You just have to have an intimate relationship with them.

Your comment is excellent, but wrong. I didn't think of this before, and I'm sure that VERY few people have considered this. The way society is behaving lately, anybody who touches a woman without being married to them is subject to blackmail and having their lives ruined. My advice is for all men to STOP having sex with women! -

I don't know about you, but I actually know a few guys who use "makeup". Does sunscreen, premium quality moisturiser, lip balm, or foundation count? If the answer is "yes", then, yeah, men do use makeup too.

Harper was (and is) a very odd man. He was PM of Canada for 9 years. During that time, he passed himself off as a bright and shiny nice guy. He was almost always smiling, and was often criticized for wearing feminine makeup / lipstick, and employing his own makeup artist and photographer instead of relying upon the makeup and photography supplied by the government and media. He was an extremely corrupt PM, sort of like a conservative version of crooked Hillary. One of his tricks was to fill every government post he could with his personal friends and relatives.
