Final Fantasy XV - Stella

This post is probably more suited on a gaming site or something but I wanted to share it here first. I remember reading an article on FFXV recently and I recall them saying something about Stella (the girl that was cut out). This is what they said:
"Lastly, Tabata teased gamers that the former female lead of "Final Fantasy XV", Stella could return in the game as the game director wanted to handle her development delicately and has greater plans for her within the game."
Now this got me so excited because I loved Stella's character in the initial plans. She seemed like such a unique character to the series. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love Luna, but I would be really excited if Stella was somehow still a part of the game. Does anyone have any ideas on this topic? I feel like Tabata wouldn't 'tease' the audience like this, at least, not with so much going on with the game with the big changes.

If they put Stella back into the game I'd be incredibly impressed with Tabata
Until then, FFXV is on the "cautiously optimistic" backburner because I still don't believe they have a full game that will be released sometime this year
