I forgot my phone at a restaurant last night ! How automated are you?

If you don't know, the HUE Lighting system is the best thing in the world. But yesterday I forgot my phone and, holy shit!, I couldn't even turn on or off my lights.
What's worse, I use the Home app A LOT. My bath, washing machine, TV are all connected through Siri on my iPhone. I had to download apps just to turn on and off the lights (note to self, purchase the HUE switches). And I have to use the remote and iPad to navigate the TV and I woke up to a cold bath.
How automated are you?
What happens when you lose/forget your phone?

That has happened to me at least 1000 times. Too much rose usually. …sorry that was your experience

I still don't have a house of my own (we also don't have any automated appliances here), but I do imagine myself getting one of these newfangled contraptions when the time comes. With that said, I would probably put the apps and nothing else on a cheap smartphone that would just be on my nightstand or on the living room table. I might even use that as my telephone, but I think most companies would still insist on a landline number as opposed to calling yet another mobile number.

I'm so reliant on technology that I feel strange when I'm not around my phone. Anxious.

Very weird, felt like I lost a part of me
