Trump's repugnant words and actions over the past two weeks have shown absolutely zero respect or regard for members of the military or their families.
Donald Trump has never shown the military proper respect. Whether claiming Republican Sen. John McCain is not a war hero because he was captured, sneering at the sacrifices and very identity of Gold Star parents Khizr and Ghazala Khan, or pocketing a veteran’s Purple Heart, Trump cannot be counted on to do right by the troops, even as he wraps himself in the flag and invokes our armed forces to attack people protesting him.

I see that you and aadam started posting again today. Aadam had good posts today. You however.. not so much.
If anything, Trump gives too MUCH credit to the police and military. John McCain is no war hero, his military service can be summarized as killing hundreds and permanently injuring hundreds more soldiers on a US aircraft carrier that he nearly sunk with his stupidity. He then served his country best by being a prisoner of war. The SON of Khizr and Ghazala Khan was a hero.. however his parents - Khizr and Ghazala are hypocritical, lying, pieces of shit who are a disgrace to their son. -

Anybody who WANTS to go to war is sick in the head, however, North Korea must be stopped before they fulfill their incessant vows to nuke South Korea, US cities, Guam, and Japan - not to mention selling their technology, nukes, and missiles to terrorists.By the way.. every war in the past 100 years that the US has been involved in was the result of democrat presidents. A war with North Korea would be due to Obama, Bush, and Clinton. Trump has no choice with North Korea.

I was watching Bill Mahar yesterday, who I think can be really funny, but he started his show by saying that the general was a liar who was covering up for Trump. I get that BM is running a comedy show but with so many people turning to comedy programs (like Sam B, Seth M, and Stephen C) they need to more accurate and less inflammatory.
I see no reason to disbelieve the general. I see every reason why someone in his position would be offended by a senator politicizing the death of a military member – to say so is not slander.
If you listen to the whole of what the general said at his press conference, I think it's clear Trump didn't speak out of turn. Simply put, if you dislike someone everything they do is going to piss you off. It was a lose, lose situation from the start.

Who is Sam B?
Maher is a clever guy, BUT he likes to drop incendiary bombs to boost his ratings. For instance, if he is being ignored by the media for a long time, he will say "nigger" knowing that it will instantly get him media attention. He will then spend the next month apologizing, which gets him even more media attention. I would recommend that everyone watch Maher's "Religulous".
