I wonder if this idea would work..

Instead of having a MEN'S room, and WOMEN'S room..
have an generic / anybody room, and a WOMEN & CHILDREN room..

If women and children wanted to use the generic room, they would do so at their own risk.  The trans people would use the generic room without the stigma of going to a "men's room".

Large shopping malls already have a MEN'S, WOMEN'S, and FAMILY room.

In some countries in Europe, they have urinals without doors right on the sidewalks!  I always wondered what women think about that, because I don't think a urinal would work for most of them.

        Ah, feminism.

The laws are fine as they are. They could do a generic bathroom for all people (which would be the best choice but squash privacy when you need to get away from your date). The problem isn't with trans people but people with a mental illness who've decided gender is fluid.
