Why are the torrents indexed by search engines?

It seems odd that you can't access or see anything in the torrent section without logging in first, but can see names/pictures/descriptions/etc. via Google's cache. Is there a reason that this otherwise private website has its contents shown to the public? I would have thought flying under the radar would be the preferred option for a site like this; currently, it appears on the first or second page of a Google search when searching for certain terms.

We have to have a beacon of light for others searching for a site like ours. More members = more material. This makes us #1 gay torrent site.
We are DMCA compliant and takedown material that is requested of us according to our DMCA policy page.
User privacy is always #1 here though.
