Favorite Final Fantasy game?

I have the FFXV and the FFX / FFX-2 HD Remaster to PS4, these are my favorites.

I'm very surprised that no one's brought it up but for me Tactics has to be the best FF game I've playedI like the turn-based battle system and the plethora of story characters with unique jobs that you can recruit to your roster.
I fuckin love the plot with the corruption in the church, the social commentary, the criticisms on war and people with authority.There are flaws like every game and for me it has to be the difficulty in unlocking jobs and the fact that there are jobs that are just downright useless and jobs that are overpowered.  I also love the additions they made in the remake like balthier  ;D

Currently playing through FFXIV and I absolutely cannot put it down ;D

My favorite is VI, but I also really like IV and V.

VI, IX and XII are franchise pinnacles in my opinion, but between those three I've never been able to really choose one "favorite". I usually cite 6 as being the most influential on me as a gamer, but 9 is so iconic an 12 is just so objectively GREAT of a game…

So far XV and XIV have been my favs, I hope they keep the ball rolling with the new combat style. Turn based combat can be fun, but I don't think it compared to real time combat

That would be gorgeous and in my opinion VIII totally deserves that. The story was so fucking great. The music. I all made such a great atmosphere. Sometimes it was so fucked up with all the time changing, memories, Squall's thoughts. I could honestly say this game made me. I come back to it every 2 years or so. Yeah… Remake would be fucking outstanding. I don't buy games anymore only on PS Store sometimes if there's a discount but gosh. I would spend my money to play that shit.

My first final fantasy game was Final Fantasy XI. I liked the "programme feeling" when playing the game, because you can sort of program all your party characters to act a certain way. The game kind of feels too long and I had to start playing the game on X3 speed.
