You guys are a hoot. Are you insinuating an Obama-sponsored, Democratic set-up to besmirch the Trump campaign?
If so, why would the Democrats not blow the whistle before the election? This is a non-sensical effort to distract.

Any candidate would gladly listen to damning evidence against their opponent, that's what you try to do all day long, regardless of where it comes from or who is giving it. There is nothing wrong with that… If someone from Malaysia or Japan or where ever said they had a picture of Hillary killing a baby, I'd look.

It's against federal election law to accept contributions from a foreign government as a campaign.

The amount of mental gymnastics the guys on this forum have to do to defend this…

Since Trump Jr. released those emails, I have been checking Breitbart off and on to see how they could possibly spin this. There were two relevant articles. One was a huge collection of celebrity tweets bashing Trump and his son. The other was about Trump praising his son's "transparency". As of this morning, there aren't any articles about it on the front page. I guess that explains why there isn't any collective agreement on how to defend what Trump Jr. did. No one is being spoon fed talking points from major right wing news sources.

The capacity for critical thought and objectivity in this country is going down the shitter. Not that it was ever in a great place to begin with.

You know Breitbart is desperate when they put Rosie O'Donnell on their front page to stir up the base. Trump Sr is still calling it a witch hunt, even after his son cultivated a relationship "wit dos bitches". Who does he think he is kidding.?

If Obama (or any Democrat) did this why would they wait until now to reveal it? This would have been something to reveal last summer before the election. This would have cost him the election.

To be honest I don't have a huge issue with the meeting. If someone has dirt on an opponent then the campaign should investigate it no matter where it comes from. As long as they can prove that it's true who cares what the source of the information is.

My issue is that this campaign lied for months. Trump and everyone on his team has lied to the American people. What else is he lying about?

I agree with you but why send Don Jr? She must have had some credibility for him to be the person to take the meeting. There are plenty of other people who could have done the dirty work. I don't believe the adoption story for a second. He is lying about that. Something else went on in that meeting.

Not jus Don Jr, but Jared and Manefort. Clearly they were looking for major dirt and planning how to use it. But sorry, the source does matter. And before it is mentioned, the DNC seeking information on Manefort from Ukraine is a false equivalency. They were looking for information on what Manefort did while working in the Ukraine, not for information that foreign actors had collected in the United States on United States citizens. Don should have called the FBI.
