Agriculture (MEAT) is causing 50% of our GreenHouse Emissions.

It's REALLY pathetic, but it's ok. That's just what you are. Pathetic.
You could have chosen to put all of your replies in one post, but chose to make five responses…

Wow I wish I could talk to the clouds about constantly evolving too!
-
I admire your passion, but where is the evidence that it causes 50% of greenhouse gasses?
-
Watch Cowspiracy. It's the most disgusting film you will EVER watch. The producer was threatened by the Dept of Agriculture, so Leonardo DiCaprio took over production, not that I like him for his hypocrisy flying around in private jets, but he does make a point.

Sorry, but the figures cited in Cowspiracy are from a single study that has not been verified. Take a look at this graphic from the EPA:

Being vegan is fine and you are entitled to your abhorrence for meat, but don't believe everything you see in a movie on Netflix. -
This is ridiculously fake. You just believe whatever they tell ya huh? Whenever it suits ya anyway…
-
You can't just put up a graph and be like, oh, well that's the facts. You don't even have any studies to back this up or anything and we both know what you're doing, because most people look at a visual and accept it more than just words. I know what you're doing, and it isn't going to work!

While the percentages vary by study, mhorndisk is correct in noting the world's growing consumption of "food animals," and the sizable amount of methane they create, is a particularly harmful element related to climate change. There's a lot of supportive data out there, but here's a nice article from NPR…
Bearing in mind that agriculture accounted for nine percent of greenhouse gasses by sector: "In 2011, methane from livestock accounted for 39 percent of all the greenhouse gas emissions from agriculture, according to a report that United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization released Friday. That's more than synthetic fertilizer or deforestation."
So yes, mhorn's numbers are inflated. And yet, animals/methane remains an important part of the climate change equation.
mhorn, it's my sense that you get downvoted – even here, on a topic in which many of us agree with parts of your position -- because your forum manners are so very poor. And yes, we know you don't care.
Why the need, on this thread, for umpteen little, enraged, complaining replies to your own message? When you routinely type with all those screaming caps -- here, DEAD FLESH and such -- you do your case more harm than good. It's called self-control, and until you learn some, you'll get down-votes -- even on issues where you might have unexpected allies.
-
Also, mhorn, I find it ironic and a bit weird that while you inveigh against meat consumption, your avatar is some hunky farm boy with a hunting rifle. I wouldn't expect this from an animal-rights advocate, vegan/vegetarian, etc… :crazy2:

Here's a thought.. to cut man made emissions.. put the brakes on population growth.
For now,
"Gassy cows are here to stay, the skies above are dark today.
Let's stick a cork in Elsie's ass, she's been grazing on too much green grass.
There's a heap of dung coming out her ass.
Between the moonbat guano and bovine shit.. Gassy cows are here to stayyyyyy! " -
Pussy smell.
If it's any consolation, it's becoming more economically and nutritionally feasible to become vegetarian. Don't give up hope, mhorn.

So you are saying that you are tripping on mushrooms? Now it all makes sense…..
