One of the main characteristics of the modern conservative movement is xenophobia. It is a blinding fear of anyone who is different from them, especially different cultures, religions, ethnicities, and races. This xenophobia also makes them find it acceptable when people who do look like them commit atrocities- or, rather, the reason why they do these things is either justified, or they are individuals not acting on behalf of their group identity.
But if, for example, a gay man with extreme internalized homophobia shoots up a gay nightclub, it's not because of his internalized homophobia if he happens to be Muslim. It must be because he is Muslim.
If a white man assaults a black man, it is just an individual drunken brawl.
If a black man assaults a while man, it must be because of the Black Lives Matter protest down the street.Conservatives are incapable of seeing members of outsider groups as individuals- they are all just one huge undifferentiated mass of enemies. I'm an atheist, and I have been in discussions with conservatives who think Atheists are "in league" with Muslims. Numerous times I have seen them pretend that Liberals "love" Muslims, or that we encourage black on white crime.
Oh, and the time I was accused, as a gay man, of being the reason for a rise in teenage pregnancy. The number of teenage girls knocked up by gay men must be higher than I thought. Also, us gay men are all in favor of female genital mutilation, since we spend so much time dealing with female genitals. I'm not kidding. That accusation was hurled at me on a Breitbart forum.
This is all because conservatives cannot think- they just feel intense blind fear, and their desire to scapegoat makes it easier to group their imaginary enemies together in one convenient package to demonize. For the nutjobs on this website, the label they use is "libtard". I wonder how Sarah Palin feels about that word? She must be so conflicted.

What you just wrote is the exact opposite of reality. I'm talking about actual crime statistics, and the assumptions of the police and the prosecutors. You are talking about the imaginary liberal media that only exists in the propaganda from conservative media.

Don Lemon and Simone Sanders said "it aint no hate crime" about the Chicago kidnapping because it was a white victim and black perpetrators. Even after the 4 criminals admitted it was a hate crime, CNN still refused to label it as such.

all races of people have gone through times of oppression and freedom including white people. take a real history class. sorry to break it to you but the white man isnt responsible for the problems of the worldor being the ones that ended the peachy happiness of the world. different groups of people have been oppressing and hurting each other through history. middle eastern Arabs even began the african slave trade themselves having captured millions of africans in slavery and practiced castration to control their population.
white people commit crimes at much lower rates than minorities and tend to not have criminal records resulting in much more lenient sentencing. also being able to afford a good lawyer helps. being white isnt a free pass to commit crime and get away with it.i have empathy for all people but im realistic and i wont be bending over backwards and lying just to make people feel better about their false victimhood. you on the other hand really dont believe white people have ever suffered or can ever suffer and instead are the equivalent of nazis and how they would think and feel about jews blaming all their problem and problems of the world on a group of innocent people.
