I watched Freier Fall & felt like shit. I love that feeling when a film fucked you up so hard though. So I'm not sure about ''uplifting ending''

This one was very disappointing, I'm not familiar with the Pride and Prejuice story but this movie focused too much on developing the side romance(straight) and just completely forgot about the main one(gay one), the ending was not satisfying at all, even regardless of if it was a happy or a sad finale it would have felt equally dull because the romance between the two men was simply not explored enough, this was more of a friendship movie with a
! shoehorned kiss at the end.
