Yes, Don't Feed The Trolls is the standard, though sometimes difficult to pull off because idiotic intolerance and programmed disruption is a kind of nihilism and hate-spewing for its own sake as an alternative facts narrative. Why, just yesterday we heard Lyin' Ryan's smirking face claim that killing U.S. citizens for the sake of giving a tax cut to rich people was "an act of mercy."
There is no point in arguing with brain dead ass Trumpets because they cling to their delusions and their purpose– which is not to make the country safer or happier, but to piss off their enemies. Nya-Nya. That's as childish as the Tantrum Tweeter in the White House churlishly smiting out of petty spite instead of governing.
When Up is Down and Day is Night, Hillary is a hater, short-fingered Trumplethinskin is draining the swamp, and government is the number one enemy. Nowadays they blame Obama, but I think the real criminals are the bastards who set up this crummy gumming. You know-- Jefferson, Madison, Hamilton.... Those guys. Whattabuncha losers. We got much better thinkers around today. And we got The Biggest Loser. He's not just wrong about details like presidenting being hard (who knew?) but actually doesn't seem to know what government, or at least this one, does and how it works.
I'm glad, though, to see someone ask the question that started this thread. Glad to know I'm not the only one who wondered who left the asylum door open. The giveaway, incidentally, is when someone calls his/her opponents "queens" and expects to be taken seriously. No, actually, that's when you stop all interaction with these alleged humans. (Are they even Russian bots like the ones disrupting the French election by releasing fake hacking data? Russian bots which targeted US races in great detail via coordination with the Putin-sponsored Trump crew and then released the hacking data to bias the election?)

Here's a simple solution for the original issue brought up: don't feed the trolls. If we merely ignore the trolls, they will cease having fun and go away.
There is a difference between a troll, and someone who has different values and opinions and wants to start a fight and insult others.
As hard as it is to get into this site, I don't think people would bother to "troll" if you ask me.
I have no problem with people who are homophobic, racist, sexist, whatever.
Just as long as you don't make your values and opinions personal it's ok. Then it becomes overkill and that's when it crosses the line.

It's not just on this site, it's pretty much everywhere. Much like out there in the offline world, where nazis and assorted flavours of white supremacist have been crawling out of the woodwork with the ongoing rise of nationalism, online so has the "alt-right" spread beyond the chans and the fronts into every site you can think of. I guess they're still butt-hurt over losing WW2 and those pesky non-Aryans contaminating the land and the gene pool with their filth, or something like that. I'm still waiting for the gay nazis to explain to me how they deal with all that cognitive dissonance, though, but I guess it's just one of those unsolvable mysteries…

I myself have stopped participating in this site to a great degree because of the all the right-wing nutjobs, especially those evidently running the site. The internet is virtually bursting with free porn, why stay and listen to this crap? The best thing is simply not to engage with any of them & work around them instead.

There are some conservatives on here that aren't hateful and aren't trolling, they truly believe in what they say they believe in. If they aren't making attempts to deflect when you engage with them, then they most likely aren't trolling. People who truly believe in what they say defend their arguments and will not deflect when you engage with them. That's one of the best ways you can separate the trolls from the actual conservatives on here. And yes, it's best sometimes to just avoid them because often times they're extremely :crazy2:

It's all good Raphjd. Trump is the President because of us. We're the future, we're the game changers. These liberals think with their feelings, we think with logic. They may think they have good intention and that is enough, but we know it's misguided. They constantly act like victims because they have a syndrome and it works on the feeble minded as a form of manipulation. They're just not smart enough to get it, and that's ok. We're winning, they're losing, and that's really all that matters. They supported a total loser criminal who was exposed for her emails and they want to blame Russia for what she herself said in those emails that was totally criminal. Who cares if they can accept the Truth or not? They're nuts, so it doesn't matter.

It's also hypocritical to demand that conservatives defend everything deemed "conservative", while you refuse to defend liberal things.
