Good on France! Leave it to them to turn back the dark tide of fear and insularity that Brexit and Trump has inflicted on the West. Again the French have stood for Liberté égalité fraternité!  :bravo:

This is a victory for looking outward- for globalism and the realization that we are stronger looking to and reaching out to our fellow human beings beyond our borders rather than closing ourselves off from the rest of the world. Yes, there are risks, but no good thing comes without a cost.

To all the naysayers and predictors of doom- time will tell. I disagree with your fear mongering.  :panic:
History will show which of us has got this right.

Tell someone you love them today, because life is short.
But shout it at them in German, because life is also terrifying and confusing.

French media is reporting this hour that Emmanuel Macron has won a massive victory over Trump-endorsed neo-Nazi loving Madeline Le Pen in the election for President of France: 65.1% for the good guys, to just 34.9% for the far-right.

Stupidity and madness of Brexit is not spilling further. Good.

The real "stupidity and madness" is remaining the cucks of the EU and Merkel.

Why is there so much hate toward people that want to run their own country, rather than being ruled by the EU or Merkel?!

Merkel re-elected as President of France.

Better than a coup by Vladimir Putin.

Maybe you don't know that revoking same-sex marriage & adoption was part of Le Pen's program?

Do you think gays will get married in Francistan? If they can survive, it will be surprising.

In Francistan, women will not even have the right to choose what to wear.
Abortion will be a decision of her owner / husband.

YEP, liberals won't answer that because they know they'll sound stupid if they do.

I don't see liberals from non EU countries fighting to give up their national sovereignty.  That makes them a hypocrite.

First of all.. the woman that just lost the French election is Marine Le Pen, not Madeline.  Marine Le Pen is the daughter of Jean Marie Le Pen who is 87 years old.  Jean Marie Le Pen endorsed Trump, but Trump never endorsed Jean Marie Le Pen nor did Trump endorse Marine Le Pen.    You just make shit up and post it as factual.  I don't know why you call Macron the "good guy".  What is good about him?  By the way.. France has a long history of never wanting to take sides in anything, nor get involved in any conflict.  The reason for that is.. up until 2006, they were the 3rd largest arms dealer in the world, just after the USA and Russia.  China is now #3, making France #4.  France is all about selling weapons to anybody who will buy them who can't get them from the USA.

Here's some news for you.. the EU has been a failure, and once Great Britain completes it's exit, the EU will collapse faster than a chair under Oprah Winfrey's ass.  France was the country that pushed hard for the EU to begin with.. so it is no surprise that they want to keep it.

By the way.. the NAY sayers are the liberals who say NO to anything and everything that Trump tries to do.

                                    No sanity break needed.

I do that to point out that the liberals keep down voting my posts, but never answer even the most basic questions I pose to them.

In case you haven't noticed, the left loves to call everyone they don't like a Nazi.    If you don't want to cuck to the EU, you're a Nazi.  If you condemn violence, you're a Nazi.

Hi everyone this is my first post on this site and I had to do it because of a few scary posts I've just read about The French elections.

Firstly I want to say that I'm a French guy who proudly voted for Emmanuel Macron on Apr 27th and May 7th. Marine Le Pen was NOT an option as she was clearly not a republican candidate. Remember "Liberté Egalité Fraternité" ?

Second, eat your hearts out British friends but there are still people who believe in Europe, no Frexit for us thank you  😛 As for the quote "Merkel re-elected as President of France", this is not a nice thing to say for the German people who re-elected this woman meaning she may be not that bad  ;D

Last, many of us French people believe that our young, handsome and brilliant new President embodies values likely to give hope for the new generations. I may be wrong but why not give this young man a chance ?

And NO : gays and women are NOT beaten everyday by Muslims in France. I could not believe reading that kind of s**t on a gay site but I guess there are pro-Trump, pro-Putin, populist alt-right gays after all …

Peace people and do not let hate pollute your minds

Record of all time of abstention and null vote ... and yes you are indeed wrong  ;D
