After admitting to CNN that he did not read the House bill to repeal and replace Obamacare, Rep. Chris Collins (R-NY) told the Buffalo News that he was unaware the bill would nix funding for a health care program in New York.

When a reporter for the Buffalo News told Collins that the American Health Care Act would eliminate funding for an optional program adopted only by New York and Minnesota called the Essential Plan, Collins replied, “Explain that to me.”

The backlash is going to be so brutal. I can't wait to sit back with my popcorn and watch from afar.

US taxpayers are funding a program for 2 states.  Hmm.

It reminds me of the program where US taxpayers fund heating for those in the Northeast, but not for heating in other cold areas.  On the flip side, US taxpayers don't subsidize AC for those in hot climates.

Agreed. It's mind-boggling how blatantly they push for all these reductions to health care just to fund their planned tax cut to the wealthy.
It may still not pass the Senate though….

Tell someone you love them today, because life is short.
But shout it at them in German, because life is also terrifying and confusing.
