13 Reasons Why http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1837492/ is based on the novel by Jay Asher.A student commits suicide and leaves 13 tapes behind to document and expose the dark secrets and events which led to her death. Really well-written, and features a strong cast. Give it a shot if you've got the time.
