Why do some people substitute letters as numbers in the title?

Just wondering for my own curiosity, let's say if the video was from RandyBlue, the user would upload the title as R4ndyBlu3 or something like that. Is it because it makes it harder for it to be found and taken down by DMCA?

That is one of the possible reason, but others just do it because they are used to typing in that way especially with friends. That practice has been around long like some sort of brain study

I think it's to avoid copyright infringement (dunno if I spelled that right)

It's based on the old "scene" l33t (elite) speak. Coders, hackers, rippers, etc used this to separate themselves from the "l0s3rs" who just use computers.
