I need to find new jams for my carpool playlist. Preferably in pop or indie would be great, but I'm up for any other type of music

Examples of the sort of "pop" and "indie" music you have in mind would be helpful.

I agree with SemenDemon- it would help if you gave an idea what you have in mind since the choices are so broad- but to get things started I'll share a song each from the two most recent groups I've found myself enjoying a lot, you can explore their other songs if you like these:

            Bastille: Good Grief
            Youtube Video

Clean Bandit feat. Sean Paul & Anne-Marie: Rockabye
            Youtube Video

Tell someone you love them today, because life is short.
But shout it at them in German, because life is also terrifying and confusing.

DIIV - Doused and probably any other song they've made. They aren't really in the category of "pop" but I'd put them in "indie" so…

"Pop" and "Indie" are way too broad, but I have been listening recently to (and I like a lot):

                La Roux
